On 4/1/2026 National Government Services will begin operating as Wellpoint Federal.
While the name will change, structure, service level and operating model will remain the same, advancing the future of government healthcare as part of Elevance Health.
Beginning 4/1/2026 National Government Services will start adopting the new brand name and identity, although NGS may still be referenced online or in existing printed materials. There are no immediate changes to provider portals, NGS Connex and NGSMedicare.com. Updates will be provided as changes are introduced throughout the year
