Medicare providers may notice some changes when they access resources previously provided through National Government Services (NGS).
As of September 11, 2026, National Government Services is operating as Wellpoint Federal. Along with the new name, Wellpoint Federal has updated the names and web addresses for two familiar Medicare resources:
- NGSMedicare is now the Provider Website
- NGSConnex is now the Provider Portal
The good news is that the services themselves have not changed. However, providers should update their bookmarks and saved links to use the new Wellpoint Federal addresses.
For now, the former NGS Medicare website will redirect visitors to the new Provider Website. Wellpoint Federal plans to keep that redirect in place through September 11, 2027.
NYSCA Has Updated Our Medicare Resources
NYSCA has already updated our Medicare resource page with the new Wellpoint Federal links. Therefore, members can continue to use the NYSCA website as a starting point when looking for Medicare resources.
In addition to the Provider Website and Provider Portal, the page includes Medicare forms, guidance and resources relevant to chiropractic practices.
