1. Get Licensed & Registered in New York
Graduating from chiropractic college is an important milestone, but there are additional steps before you can begin practicing in New York. The New York State Education Department's Office of the Professions oversees chiropractic licensure and registration. Your license establishes your professional credentials, while your registration authorizes you to practice in New York during the applicable registration period.
As you prepare to enter practice, make sure you understand the current requirements for licensure, registration and continuing education directly from NYSED.
