Current Legislative Priorities

Scope Modernization Bill

A4706 (Clark) | S5860 (Goundares)

Scope Modernization would update and modernize the chiropractic scope of practice to reflect the education and training of chiropractors, while ensuring that the profession remains surgery and drug free.

The Title VIII Coalition Partnership Bill

A2588 (Peoples-Stokes) | S3350 (Scarcella-Spanton)

The Partnership Bill would allow numerous healthcare professionals to form PLLCs and other types of professional partnerships and would also allow for multidisciplinary service practice partnerships. Further, the bill would clarify that multidisciplinary service practice partnerships would be distinct from hospitals.

Retrospective Audit Look Back Bill

A3365 (Lavine) | S5209 (Scarcella-Spanton)

The Lookback Bill would shorten the lookback time period for health plans to initiate overpayment recovery to be more equitable for health care providers.

Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act

HR539 | S106

The Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act would allow Medicare beneficiaries to access the full range of covered chiropractic services that chiropractors are licensed to provide under state law, rather than limiting Medicare coverage to spinal manipulation.
