We would like to take a moment to express our extreme gratitude to our lobbyist, Amy Kellogg, for her efforts in advancing and ultimately achieving passage of the Opioid Bill (A273/S4640) into law.
Through the trials and tribulations of drafting, debating, and introducing the bill and her tireless efforts on getting sponsorship and votes, a legislative victory was obtained for the NYSCA, the chiropractic profession, and most importantly for the the public.
Those of us who have been involved in the efforts know that it was her actions and voice that moved this from concept into law.
