NYSCA Partners with ChiroHealthUSA to Support Compliant, Affordable Patient Care

The NYSCA is pleased to announce its participation in the ChiroHealthUSA State Association Pledge Program. This partnership gives New York chiropractors another resource for navigating patient discounts and cash-pay arrangements.
ChiroHealthUSA is a provider-owned network that works with a Discount Medical Plan Organization (DMPO). Participating providers can offer network-based discounts to eligible cash-paying, underinsured, and out-of-network patients who enroll in the program.
The program can also help practices address common compliance concerns surrounding patient discounts. These may include dual fee schedules, inducements, improper down-coding, and certain time-of-service discount arrangements.
Helping Make Care More Affordable
Cost can affect a patient's ability to continue care, particularly when insurance coverage is limited or unavailable.
ChiroHealthUSA gives participating practices a structured way to offer discounted fees to eligible patients. This can help practices make care more affordable while establishing clear and consistent financial policies.
Patients with Medicare or other federal healthcare coverage may also qualify for discounts on services their plans do not cover.
Supporting Chiropractic at the State and National Level
The partnership offers another benefit. It supports the organizations working on behalf of the chiropractic profession.
Through its State Association Pledge Program, ChiroHealthUSA contributes a portion of its revenue to participating state chiropractic associations and national chiropractic organizations. Those contributions help NYSCA continue its work in advocacy, education, member resources, and professional support.
In that way, participation can have an impact beyond an individual practice. It can also help strengthen the profession as a whole.
Learn More
NYSCA members who want to explore ChiroHealthUSA can learn more about how the program works and whether it fits their practice.
NYSCA is also planning an introductory lunchtime webinar for late September. Members will have an opportunity to learn more about ChiroHealthUSA and ask questions about the program. We will share the date and registration details by email as soon as they are confirmed.
As with any practice financial policy, providers should review the applicable requirements and make sure they implement their policies appropriately.
