This training is required under New York State law for chiropractors and other mandated reporters. The November 17, 2026 deadline applies regardless of when your license registration is due for renewal. Please review your training records now and complete any outstanding requirements before the deadline.
Previously completed the two-hour course through NCHS or NYSCA?
If you completed the qualifying two-hour mandated reporter training through NCHS or NYSCA before September 1, 2025, and have not yet completed the addendum, you can register for Northeast College’s prerecorded online addendum course.
You only need the addendum, rather than repeating the full two-hour course. Complete the addendum and ensure your required documentation is submitted by November 17, 2026.
Have not completed the qualifying two-hour course?
You need to complete the full updated course, available through:
- New York State Mandated Reporter Resource Center, which offers free online training.
- Another approved provider listed on NYSED’s mandated reporter training page.
If you completed the full updated course on or after September 1, 2025, confirm with your provider that it included the newest requirements before registering for additional training.
